Unwind in the casual yet lively atmosphere of Fiona's Bar and Grill as you enjoy an "express" lunch 5 days a week, brunch on Sundays and dinner nightly. Fiona's Bar and Grill is perfect for an evening with someone special, or a lively gathering with friends. Located inside the Carson Valley Inn next to Katie's Country Kitchen, Fiona's offers friendly service that locals and travelers alike have come to know throughout the West. The main restaurant, upper dining area and bar area offer comfortable seating for a variety of party sizes.

Express Lunch :
11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Mon. - Fri.

Lunch at Fiona's can be "express" or leisurely, depending on your schedule. One price ($9.99) covers the self-serve Lunch Bar which includes generous assortments of salads; a soup of the day; and a daily pizza, pasta, Panini sandwich and featured carved Hofbrau style sandwich. Dinner :

If you are a fan of steaks, chops, and seafood, the menu at Fiona's Bar and Grill gives you plenty of options for enjoying your favorite fare. And for extra savor and flavor, Fiona's wood-burning grill imparts a unique rustic flavor as live coals and flame seal in the juices!

Fiona's family of steaks are served in various sizes and include Filet Mignon (well marbled - the most tender of all), Kansas City (served on the bone and known for its combination of tenderness and flavor), T-Bone (combines the best of both the filet and "New York"), Rib-Eye (thick, juicy, and full-bodied flavor), and Top Sirloin (robust flavor!).

Fiona's Prime Rib of Beef is slow roasted for a half a day under a crust of rock salt and spices and served in a variety of cuts. Smoked Buffalo Prime Rib is also available. Among the other meat entrees are Sirloin Game Tips, Buffalo Steak, Sliced Pepper Steak and more.

Chops and ribs include a signature "Monster" Pork Chop, BBQ Pork Ribs, Lamb Chops and more. Chicken lovers can enjoy Margarita Chicken, Dijon Garlic Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. Using the freshest fish and seafood available, Fiona's offers Garlic Shrimp, Lobster Tail, Crab, Macadamia Nut Halibut, Chive Butter Salmon and a daily fresh fish special. There are also pasta and vegetarian items plus daily specials.

All entrees include unlimited trips to Fiona's soup and salad bar featuring harvests from local and California fields and orchards. A full range of a la carte side dishes are also available - each big enough to pass around and share.

Sunday Brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the tradition that has made it the "Best in the Carson Valley" for many years running in The Record Courier poll.
An array of breakfast and lunch entrees are available plus a Sunday's-Best flair to our salad bar with plenty of fruit, pastries, smoked salmon and other assorted goodies!

The Vineyard Room
for groups of 10 to 16

The Vineyard Room is ideal for private lunch or dinner gatherings of 10 - 16 whether for business purposes or a social occasion. The Vineyard Room is also perfect for private and productive meetings, planning sessions, retreats, depositions and focus groups-or, perhaps for some simple refocusing.

Meeting amenities include free WIFI, hook ups to show your presentation on the 42" plasma screen and a conference phone.

Fiona's Bar Area

Fiona's bar is "open" to the restaurant area and casino and features 18 bar seats and slots, high and low cocktail tables and two 42" plasma televisions.

In addition to a great selection of appetizers, enjoy your favorite cocktails, a dozen wines by-the-glass, six beers on tap and a variety of seasonal hot or frozen drink specials.

In compliance with Nevada's Indoor Clean Air Act, smoking is not permitted anywhere
in the Fiona's Bar and Grill facility. Chewing tobacco is also not permitted.

Didn't Fiona's Used to Be Located Next Door?

Previously located next door to the Carson Valley Inn, Fiona's Bar and Grill moved in early May of 2007 to the area inside the casino previously occupied by Michael's at the Inn and PJ's Pub.
The entire area underwent a complete remodeling creating a fresh and lively atmosphere. The "old" Fiona's facility was closed and the building was sold.
