Fly Fishing and Lake Tahoe Mackinaw Fishing Packages
Fly Fishing and Lake Tahoe Mackinaw Fishing Packages are available for groups of 12 – 30 people. You can also combine group Fishing packages with our group Shooting or Hunting Packages.
All packages include at least 2 night's hotel accommodations, one group dinner, fishing activities and more. All persons in the group must be 21 or over. Here are our four Group Fishing Packages:
Introduction to Fly Fishing
Three to four hours of instruction on fly fishing (there is no actual fishing). This is perfect for those who have not fly fished before or who have had little experience. Minimum of 12 people, maximum of 30 (more if done in "shifts"):
- The basics of fly casting
- Different types of equipment needed for fly fishing
- Specific knots for fly fishing
- Reading water and selecting the proper flies
- Proper catch and release techniques
- Plenty of time for all questions and answers
- All necessary equipment included
Please be prepared with proper clothing for a day in the outdoors. No license required.
Full or Half Day of Fly Fishing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains
This is a guided adventure for all levels from beginners to advanced fly anglers. Minimum of 12 people, maximum of 30:
- Fishing areas vary – most on the California side south of the Carson Valley
- Fly fishing for Browns, Rainbows, Cutthroat and an occasional Brook Trout
- All Equipment included
- Flies, leaders and fishing licenses included
- All guides are trained, licensed, bonded, insured and properly permitted
This is a trip for those who really want to get out and learn fly fish with a hands-on approach. The half day fishing trip can be combined with the 3 – 4 hour Introduction Package shown above to make a full day of fun.
Lake Tahoe Mackinaw Fishing Packages
4 – 5 hours of early morning fishing on world-renowned Lake Tahoe. Minimum of 12 people, maximum of 30:
- Private charter boats, 3-5 people per boat
- Bait, tackle and beverages are included
- All fish cleaned
- CA or NV Fishing License is required
